Should I choose independent living at Liberty Residence I or assisted
living at Liberty Residence II? This is a very common question for many
potential new residents. Answer the following questions to help you
determine which community is best for you:
| 1. |
I need help with my medications. |
Yes |
No |
|
| 2. |
I can not do all of my own bathing and dressing. |
Yes |
No |
|
| 3. |
I sometimes have problems with incontinence. |
Yes |
No |
|
| 4. |
I am no longer able to do my own finances. |

No |
|
| 5. |
I have short term memory issues. |

No |
|
| 6. |
I have had a history of falls. |
Yes |
No |
If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, you may be
appropriate for an assisted living community. If you have answered
NO to these questions, independent living is probably best suited
for you.
Keep in mind that an assessment process will be completed before you make
the move to either Liberty Residence I or II. Just because you answered
YES to the above questions does not mean that you may not be able to live
independently. It only means that you may benefit from the services of
an assisted living setting.
